Barnet Garden Project is now based at Archfields Allotments, 195a, The Great North Way, London NW4 1pp. Previously based at Fieldways Resource Centre, Dollis Valley Way, Barnet. We are a training facility for adults with a learning disability. Participants who show commitment receive a wage which does not effect their benefits. We grow and sell Chemical Free Vegetables that have the unique taste of vegetables that are straight out of the ground because that is what we do. The customer orders and we harvest. Our crops are not stored unless out of necessity such as onions, garlic etc., For £7.50 you will receive a generous selection of seasonal vegetables. We are also offering a Mixed Salad Selection £3.50 No Delivery Service News from The fertile Oas. Word is spreading about out boxes we have served many new customers this week. Feedback on our boxes has been extremely good. . We ask customers to be patient if there favourite vegetable is not available when they come. There is sometimes a waiting period for the next crop to mature and as this is our first year on the new site we have had to learn what grows well. Wet weather conditions do not stop us from harvesting. We can harvest starting at 8.30 a.m. until 14.30. Mon-Fri Week: 5th Sept-9th Sept Eric has returned from annual leave and Ged is now on leave. The team has been working at a feverish pace to catch up with weeding, sowing, thinning, plant maintenanceo and preparing a plot for over wintering onions and garlic.
