Community drop-in Centre hailed success
 | Streets Ahead for Information is a drop-in information and advice service situated on Parliament Road, Middlesbrough. Residents of Gresham, University, North Ormesby and Middlehaven can now access information and advice on a wide range of services including employment, education, training, health issues, welfare benefits and housing.
The service aims to encourage and support local residents to develop their full potential by enabling them to access appropriate learning opportunities, while providing photocopying, administration help and support for local community groups, as well as meeting space for other local organisations.
Currently at Streets Ahead you can access the Kilhona Toy library Wednesday 2pm-4.00pm. The Wise Group are here on Thursday 1.00pm-3.00pm and Friday Reed Recruitment drop-in to help you with all of your training needs.
On Thursday 30th September 2004 Streets Ahead are to host an Open Day for all of the Senior Citizens in the area. You can access information from Age Concern, Staying Warm and even watch a film about old Middlesbrough and Cannon Street and the event runs from 9.00am-3.00pm.
