How are we going to do it?
Don’t Refuse, Recycle!
Keep a record of all the waste thrown out at home throughout one week. What do you do with it?
How much of it is recycled?
The next week and for every week throughout the Summer, record how much waste there is and see if there is any improvement in your recycling efforts.
Encourage recycling!
Stop Being a Waster!
Using the form given to you, run through the list and make a summary of your findings. Tot up the score.
Do the same for other members of your family.
Record what your findings are and see if over the rest of his year, you or/and your family members can improve on their score.
Encourage a more environmentally friendly atmosphere at home and in the world.
Keep records to show at “Climate Change Presentation.”

Spring and Autumn Survey
Actually this is an all year round thing.
As you will see from your chart certain lists are marked with a ‘S’ and others with an ‘A’. Obvious what’s to be done isn’t it. You will also be given an events chart, timetabling the normal time you may see the events happening.
Record the date that the event happens and at the next meeting bring your record along and get your leaders to record the event for the section.
Hopefully we will be able to get somewhere to plant trees. Again it is Darlington Borough Council dependent.
The Woodland Trust are inviting groups to request twelve trees for planting as a method of getting us to be aware of the Environment and in particular the Climate.
So Let’s Get Started!
