Publications
The Durham Archaeological Journal
This very readable volume contains valuable insights into all periods of Archaeology, Architecture and History. There are articles on aerial photography, Iron Age settlements, Roman fortifications, Medieval churches and 19th century architects as well as reports on excavations and documentary research. In short, something for everyone.
Research Reports
The society has so far published five research reports, which are available at a substantial discount to members, as are back numbers of the Journal. Our most recent publication, Research Report 6, is 'Acts of perception: a study of Barnard Castle in Teesdale' by Prof David Austin.
