About A.D.A.P.T.

In 1991 a small groupof disabled people and carers banded together to form A.D.P.T.

A.D.A.P.T. was launched as a registered charity and its aims are:

To facilitate thr fullest co-operation between the statutory and volunaty organisations in Tynedale promoting the interests of people with disabilities, carers and families

To provide a means for the exchange of information

To pursue any other objects for the general wellbeing and benefit of people with diaabilities which are chchallenged by law

In 1988 A.D.A.P.T. became a company limited by guarantee as well as a charity.
