AFD is a UK based charity with an international reputation for the support of the poorest disabled people in developing countries.

Historically, our educational work in the UK has played an important role in promoting disability awareness and research into disability issues.

The focus of our activities is now in working overseas. We have established local partners and community based rehabilitation projects in many parts of the world including Central and Eastern Europe, Pakistan, India & Tanzania.
