1952
 | Pictured is our uncle, a Mr Patterson, who had a sweet shop, which we think was on the High Street.
This photo on the beach we believe to be taken in 1952, as behind the couple with the donkey, is the wreck of the "Taxiarchis" , which went ashore January 14th that year, and was dismantled.
The building on far left, with curve at front of roof was the Palace Cinema, now an amusement arcade apparently.
