The Zetland Museum
The Museum is well worth a visit being the home of The Zetland Which is world's oldest lifeboat.
The Zetland, was built in 1802, and has a proud hisory of saving more than 500 lives.
During your visit you will also see a Reconstruction of an old fishermans cottage which is very nostalgic, along with an excellent array of memorabilia.

 | This is a photo of a painting that I painted, myself, my mothers family the Guy’s go back a long way, and as a boy, my brother Arnie, Kenny Whyman and myself used to wash the old Zetland inside and outside, My grand-father Henry Guy looked after the old boat house until his death in 1937, He liked it to look nice & clean for the holiday tripper’s With Best regards to all in Redcar.
