details of the club

we are based in the Birtley Sports complex on Durham rd. We meet 645pm Tues and Thurs for training in the winter months.
In the summer we meet at various locations for scenic runs through woodland etc. Sunday morning runs are organised throughout the year in various locations.
We pride ourselves on being the ONLY club in the North East who has competed in every North Eastern Northern and National Cross Country Champs sice we were formed! Some feat for a small club!
We are a friendly club with a good social side and have the reputation of welcoming athletes of all abilities. As you can see from the home page FREE membership is being offered for a 6 month period so you really have nothing to lose!
