Stolen masterworks and long-lost jewels of the baroque era are performed with swashbuckling virtuosity! The programme includes pieces by Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Couperin, Leclair, Albinoni and Simonetti.
This early music group was founded in 1997 and named after the original red-haired priest, Antonio Vivaldi. They have been variously compared to the Rolling Stones, Jackson Pollock, the Marx Brothers, and the Cirque du Soleil.
