Bishop Auckland Orchestra

The Orchestra at Bishop Auckland is an Amateur group of musicians who get together to perform Chamber Orchestra works in two concerts a year. Recent concerts have included performances of Beethoven's 'Fidelio' overture and a Mozart Flute Concerto. The most recent Concert was held on Tuesday, March 11th, at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church and include a performence of Beethovens 1st Symphony, as well as some of Schuberts delightful Rosamunde Music. The Concert was repeated on Wednesday, 12th March in St. Davids Church Hall in Tudhoe. Both concerts were enthusiastically received. The Bishop Auckland Orchestra is always looking for new and enthusiastic players. No auditions will be necessary and whatever your skills you will be made very welcome.
