The Eric Bateson Retirement Bowls League
currently consists of 10 clubs:
Bedale, Boroughbridge, Dishforth, Easingwold, Masham, Northallerton, Ripon Spa, Sessay, Sowerby Flatts and Thirsk Athletic.
Unfortunately, due to the weather, this years (2008) Champions v. The Rest challenge match was not played but many, many thanks to the Ripon Club for their hospitality and excellent tea.
The League is open to players over the age of 55 and officially retired from their place of work.
All matches are played on a Friday afternoon unless they have to be rearranged.
Weekly results are published in the Darlington & Stockton Group of papers and those of the Ackrill Group (Harrogate based). |
