Matches are played on a friday afternoon and start at: 1.45pm

For details of the SCORING System, see the League Rules, however, the main points are as follows:
One point is awarded for each rink that wins = 4 Points. (Half a point for a drawn rink)
Three points are awarded for an overall win(based on shots) = 3 Points.
Maximum points available for each game = 7 Points.

The results will be updated as soon as all the scorecards are received - usually on the Tuesday following the matches.

Well, it doesn't get any closer than this years competition. With only one match to play, Thirsk and Bedale were joint leaders on 84 points although Thirsk had a far superior 'shots for'. However, while Bedale were winning at Northallerton, Thirsk were losing at home to Sessay so Bedale became Champions - well done!


The annual 'Champions v. The Rest' match was played at Masham on friday, 1st September.
Result: On a lovely afternoon the two teams enjoyed a very close encounter. With all 6 rinks in play the honours were shared at 3 all but with Bedale acquring the better shots score of 94 to 85, so Bedale were the overall winners by 6 pts to 3.
The Champions Shield was presented to Rita Richardson (Bedale captain) by Mr Framk Smith, League Chairman.
