What a pleasure it was to see Moira back!
Todays tournament was for the 'Douglas Autumn Salver' and Autumnal weather it certainly was. Cold, rain and wind all failed to stop our golfers and the results were as follows.
1st Norman Frizzell and Tom Reed 45pts.
2nd Mike Armstrong and Dave Wilkinson 42pts.
3rd Dave McIntosh and Geoff Bowden 39pts
(best back nine)
Thanks again for organising Moira.

Coffee Morning, The Gubeon Golf Centre 29th Nov
 | | 30 of our members attended a very informal couple of hours this morning, with tea, coffee, and home made scones. (is that scowns or sconns?) |
 | | It must have been informal because I was just about the smartest there! |
 | | Thanks to everyone for the good company, and hopefully will see many of you at our Christmas Lunch. |
Hopefully the 'girls' (using the term very loosely) from Sunderland managed to find their way home OK, after becoming lost on route to the centre. They have been there on a number of previous occasions but rumour has it that they had the map upside down! |
