Prime Minister in visit to meet Scouts

2nd Bishop Auckland Scout Group and St George Explorer Scout Unit had a fun day on Friday 20th April with loads of activities and also had a visit from the Prime Minister who stopped by to meet the youngsters and their Leaders. He took part in a question and answer question with the youngsters and did some cooking himself, still eating as he left the site. You can read the story at www.scouts.org.uk

Tyne Tees carried the story on North East Tonight (from Bilsdale transmitter) on Friday 20th April. It could be viewed from 20th April until 23rd April but has now been replaced.

The Northern Echo has a full page spread in its Saturday edition. The text can be found on its website as part of a story about the Prime Minister - and pictures have now been added.

Teletext broadcast on ITV Tyne Tees carried the story on page 340. Unfortunately, it is no longer available.

There has also been coverage in The Journal, on BBC Radio Cleveland, Magic 1170 and Century FM together with pictures showing the Prime Minister eating his sausage sandwich in The Mirror, The Guardian and The Independent.
