Welcome
 Bishopton/Redmarshall CE (Controlled) Primary School is a small rural primary school in the village of Bishopton on the border of Darlington and Stockton on Tees. We foster a happy, caring, sharing atmosphere - and welcome partnerships with parents and the community. Our aim is to be at the centre of the community, meeting the needs of local people. Children join us from the surrounding villages - and we have also welcomed children from Darlington, Sedgefield and Stockton on Tees.
Many children are introduced to our school through Bishopton Pre-school, which meets every morning and afternoon in the school. Our Pre-school offers places for children from 2 ½ to 4years of age. As part of our induction programme at 4 the children are able to attend Pre-school in the morning, enjoy a school lunch and then join class activities during the afternoon. Children make a comfortable move into our Reception and generally stay with us until age of 11.
