About St Agatha's Church, Skeeby
 | St. Agatha's Church (legally a chapel) was built and opened in the 1840s. It serves as a chapel of ease for St Agatha's Church, Easby, where baptisms and funerals for the village are conducted.
Much restoration and reordering has been done to the interior, including new seating and chancel furniture made by Philip Bastow of Reeth. This includes a priest's seat, reading desk and altar.
New altar linen has been worked by some ladies of the parish and now is used with pride on appropriate occasions.
The church is normally kept locked but access can be gained by contact with the churchwarden. |
