Brogen was born on the 10th March 2002 at the birth Brogen was starved of oxygen for 15 minutes. This time caused Brogen to be left with severe brain damage. Brogen's body because it was starved of oxygen maintained only its essential functions like keeping the heart going but in that vital first moments when Brogen was brought into the world the brain must also be stimulated and be working effectively in order for the body to be able to function properly but this did not happen for Brogen and she was left with severe Cerebal Palsy.
Naturally her parents where heartbroken when she was born but love Brogen no less. The hopes that every new parent has for their baby has been taken away from Brogen and now she has to get through life as best she can but only with the help of her parents and the Appeal.
