Brompton Football Club

This section will chronicle the story of the club from its formation in 1901.

How the club was formed

Previous to this meeting a meeting representative of several places in Northallerton and neighbourhood interested in the formation of a Football League had been held and it as decided to accept the offer of the trustees for the Elliott and Millbank cups, who had kindly offered these trophies for competition again.
