 | Robert Wilfred Easton (Wilf), pictured here in Northamptonshire Military Hospital (Duston, Northants).
Wilf received a severe gun shot wound to the head on 27/03/1918 this will have been during the massive German spring offensive which began on 21/03/1918. Because of this wound he was discharged medically unfit on 13/08/1918.
The bullet lodged next to his brain and it was never removed. It was still there when he died in 1967.
