From Basket-case to a 'Little Cracker'
From acquiring a basket with all the parts in, the project took just 4 months to complete....The result? A proper little cracker! |
Picture 1 - The Bits!
 | | These parts were saved from destruction and formed the basis of 'The Little Cracker'. |
|
Picture 2 - A closer look
 | | A closer look revealed that a trip to the dentist was required! There were several teeth missing. Another layshaft was acquired and we proceeded to stage three. |
|
Picture 3 - A rough Idea!
 | | This is a rough idea of what we hoped the finished bantam would look like. It was at this stage that we decided to go ahead with the project. |
|
Picture 4 - The Finished Bantam
 | | After sourcing several parts, including original specification polychromatic paint and genuine Bantam forks, it was ready to ride and took to the road on New Year's Day 2000. |
