A Championship Team c 1910

A shield-winning football team discovered in Grangetown St Mary's Archives...look carefully at the man on the left..He appears to be a member of a Committee on the next photograph...and the man on the right has a familiar face.

Is this St Mary's Club Committee c 1910 ?

Gentleman mentioned earlier is top right..

Grangetown Juniors FC 1938-39

Within a few short years, many of these lads were facing conscription into the Second World War...Albert Lanny's father-an Italian- was imprisoned and his hair turned white.
Story+ pic from Jimmy Rooney Goalkeeper + RAF Pilot

Grangetown Juniors 1939-40

The Sirens must have been sounding about this time but it looks as though Carlin How was still playing as well as Grangetown.
