Michael Fox is far right on back row.

Kathleen Henry [ front row third left ] went from St Mary's Grangetown on to St Peter's and was appointed the first Girl Captain of the school but died of TB age 14. We were all devastated! The family lived in Lanchester Rd. A lovelier girl you couldn't wish to meet! The other girls I recognise on that front row are Frances Rynn 1st Left, Moira Bashford to the left of Kathleen and Mary Moorfoot to her left.

Thank You Tony for this historic picture.

Hi John.
First of all - thankyou for correcting the spelling of my name on the 1956 photo.
Now then - you have a picture of a play - on the St. Peters Section - sent in by Tony Martin - called The Old Bull. I can tell you the names of the 3 people you cannot identify. The boy sitting in the chair opposite Wally Daley is CLIFFORD REDMOND. The 2 people standing behind the table are ANNE DONNELLY and EDDIE HOGGETT. I don't know if you can put their names on it or not - but if you can - I am sure they will appreciate it.

I sent your website to a lad called Billy McManus (from the Friends Site) who used to live in Creswell Road in Grangetown and he wrote back to me and said that he had thoroughly enjoyed your site and he was surprised that there was a lot of mail from Eugene McElvaney. ( Billy lives in Iceland - would you believe - since 1974) He was very interested in Eugene because HE IS BILLY's COUSIN. I was flabbergasted. I rang Eugene and gave him Billys email address and he was delighted. One of Billy's brother lives in Adelaide so Eugene is making arrangements to go and see him. Isn't that great!!!!!! It is a small world isn't it!!!!! Eugene is called John over here - by the way.
I will close now and hope that you and yours are all well.
Bye for now - Isolde (Zolly)
