Our Events

As part of the service we offer, we also arrange regular trips and outings for carers.

These include shopping trips to the Metro Centre, Alternative Therapies Days, trips to cultural events such as Christmas Carols in Durham Cathedral and day retreats to Minsteracres Retreat Centre.
You can also have fun with Wear Valley Carers participating in activities such as Carpet Bowls, Creative Crafts Days, Fun Days, visits to the Theatre or Cinema.
You are welcome to suggest trips which might interest you and other group members.

Our next event will be a Spring Fair, to raise money for carers funds. You are invited to come along and join in, either manning a stall, helping us to organise the day or simply as a member of the public. The date has yet to be confirmed. Please contact us for further information.
