The Cleveland group was formed in 1982 and held its first meeting at the Angel Inn, Stokesley on 18th October that year, the first group walk was planned at that meeting. The walk took place on the 16th January 1983, starting at Guisborough, about 20 members were in attendance.
To encourage all the family to participate in our activities we hold evening walks of about six miles throughout the summer months. For those who want more of a challenge, weekend walks covering distances of between 20 and 40 miles are held, at least once a month.
We meet every second Thursday of the month
at the Coronation Public House, Acklam at 8.pm
