Meeting opened 8pm by D Miller
Dale opened the meeting with discussion about the banter and comments that are being made about members fishing for Rocklings during matches, and asked that any derogatory remarks stop. Members are within their rights to target whatever species are available and of eligible size. The matter of Rocklings will be included at the next AGM as point for discussion.
Russell read out the recent match results and the financial report upto the meeting date.
Members discussed the splitting of prize monies and points in the instance of a tie or equal heaviest fish. Some Members would like to see change to the rule and so this will be included as a point for discussion at the AGM
Members discussed the possibility of fishing a bigger boundary or inclussion of dangerous venues This will be included as a point for discussion at the AGM
Dale asked that all members who leave a match early to call to advise the committee that they have gone home. We do not want to be waiting for members at the weig-in if they are not coming back.
The Easter Egg Raffle will be held again this year. Over the years this has proved to be a good source of income for the Club and all members are requested to both donate Eggs and sell their allocation of tickets. Dale and Russell will handout tickets shortly and collect donated Eggs
The Club is running a trip to Scotland again this year, all eligible memebrs are invited to apply for spaces. The trip will be to The Mull of Galloway over the weekend of 23rd to 25th July 20 spaces will be available with 5 caravans having been booked for Saturday and Sunday nights. Spaces will be allocated on a First come first served basis and the committee will be allocating berths A deposit of £10.00 is required with the application see form on Mull of Galloway trip
