A Celebration of Life after Cancer was established in 1999 to promote awareness of cancer,to raise money for local cancer support groups and to celebrate life after cancer.
10th Anniversary "Catwalk" show is planned to take place in April 2009 Date and venue to be advised by end of July 2008.
Stokesley Charity Cycle Ride.
We are very grateful to Paul Mackintosh and friends for the 30 mile circular bike ride around Stokesley on May 11th 2008.Many thanks to the 291 riders who took part.As at Sunday 6th July over £8,000 has been raised with more to come.Thanks again!
The Big Celebration of Life DVD.
At the Life Store in Middlesborough on Monday 7th July 2008 our charity together with ITV Tyne Tees launched a DVD about joy,hope and making the most of the life you have for those recently diagnosed with cancer.It is free so if you would like to receive the DVD please send a stamped addressed envelope to:

How did we do it
Working closely with other cancer organisations in the region we arranged our first fashion show in April 2000. All the models - men, women and children – were ordinary people who have/had had some form of cancer. Our fashion show is different
not only due to the models but also because they are made up of several,choreographed scenes with
at least 8 models in each scene.
Also,to show our appreciation,several Consultants
who treat cancer patients in the North East take to the Catwalk at the end of the show.(click on Fashion Show 2000)
Our next show was in November 2001 – with a distinctly wintry theme (click on Fashion Show 2001)
Our next show,'on the catwalk', in April 2004 - was back to a summer theme (click on Fashion Show 2004
Our latest,"on the catwalk" show in April 2006
attracted the attention of Tyne Tees Television.

The Directory
Thanks to a donation from Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Club we published 50,000 copies of our directory which lists local and national cancer support organisations and which is available in outpatient clinics, health centres, GP surgeries and libraries throughout the region(click on Directory)
If you know of anywhere which would be happy to display our Directory please contact us and we will arrange to send a pack.

How can you help
