Mr. and Mrs Young gave us a wonderful talk and demonstration of their Victorian cycles and our members were able to have a go in the main hall!
The club was formed in 1971 under the auspices of Consett Rotary Club and has proved to be popular ever since. Currently we have an average attendance of over 40 members. The Forum meets in the Consett Methodist Church Hall most Tuesday mornings from September to April. Meetings commence at 10am for tea/coffee, biscuits and good conversation. This is followed at 10.30 by a talk which cover a wide range of subjects and interests. The talks are followed by a question and answer session and meetings terminate by 12.00.
There is no annual fee but there is a suggested donation of £1.50 to cover tea/coffee/ biscuits, the cost of the venue and the speaker.
The current programme is shown on the PROGRAMME PAGE

Have a look at our Guestbook. As well as comments from members, we are delighted to have comments from old Consettonians from afar - even Australia!
