Mrs Jackie Talbot,seen here with her Consort,husband Geoffrey,was sworn in as the new Master for 2011/12 at the Cordwainers Annual Charter Weekend MRS JACQUELINE SANDRA TALBOT Born:- Doncaster, 9th October 1942 Only daughter of George William Witham and Mabel Edlin. Descendant of a long line of Leatherworkers including Cordwainers Married 1967 to Geoffrey George Talbot, a retired Civil Servant. One son Jonathan born 1978. Education Doncaster Girls’ High School. Trained as a Teacher at Bishop Grosseteste College, Lincoln, with subsequent post graduate teaching Qualifications and Higher Degrees at Leeds University and the OU including Advanced Diploma in Education studies (ADES) and MA in Education. Career:- Taught in a variety of primary schools in Doncaster and York. Now retired. Recreation Various aspects of voluntary work in the local area. Family History, Indexing Records as part of an ongoing world wide project to provide electronic records available for genealogical and other research. Card making and crafting, foreign travel (when time) and Socialising with family and friends.
