Chilton West Residents Association

Chilton West Residents Association was formed in 1999, after a small group of residents expressed their concern rearding the problems experienced in the area. The Association serves almost 700 properties on the West Side of Chilton Village. The aim of the Association is to improve the quality of life for residents by providing facilities for leisure time activities, to lobby for improvements to their environment, to promote measures to deal with vandalism and other social problems and to promote educational and employment opportunities. To this end the Association has obtained from Sedgefield Borough Council a pair of semi-detached properties in the area to be used as a "Community House".
