Robert Scamardella Programme Schumann/Liszt: Widmung; Frühlingsnacht Brahms: Sechs Klavierstücke Op. 118 Ravel: Miroirs Born in 1983, Robert Scamardella began to play and improvise at the piano at the age of four and began studies with Lucy Parham at the Guildhall School of Music. Coming to national attention as a finalist in the 2002 BBC Young Musician of the Year, he studied further at the Guildhall with Joan Havill. Other prizes included the Professional Recital Prize of the Oxford International Music Festival ‘04. Selected for the Countess of Munster Trust’s Recital Scheme, he played for us in 2007 .
