Evelina Puzaite Programme Liszt: Transcendental studies No.9, No.12 Liszt: Ballade No.2 Falla: Fantasia Bética Ciurlionis: 5 preludes Prokofiev: Ten pieces for piano op.12 Evelina Puzaite was born and educated in Vilnius, Lithuania where she received her early musical training at the M. K. Ciurlionis Art High School, before going to the Lithuanian Academy of Music and later winning a Baltic State Scholarship to the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. She won a Making Music Philip & Dorothy Green Young Concert Artists Award, The Abstract Securities Landor Competition 2006 and a recording contract with Landor Records. She has established a presence in the North of England since her first concert in Darlington when she replaced Libor Novacek at short notice, and in appearances at North Yorkshire Festivals .
