Welcome to the Darlington RSPB Local Group website.


If you are interested in birdwatching, conservation, natural history,
the environment or the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds
and you live or work in the Darlington area this is the group for you.

By being involved in your local RSPB group you can:

offer conservation help in your local area
help to organise events
help to fundraise for wild bird conservation
help other people to enjoy birds and other wildlife
learn about birds
enjoy common interests with other people.



The RSPB works for a healthy environment rich in birds and wildlife and depends on the support and generosity of others to make a difference.

The RSPB aims to take all reasonable steps to ensure the health, safety and welfare of its volunteers and staff as well as children and other vulnerable young people attending its activities. It has adopted set proecedures for the appointment of staff and volunteers who work closely with young people and established guidelines for them to work to when organising events, wherever they are held.
