Tell 2

A simplified scheme by the name of Tell 2 is growing in popularity across Darlington. This scheme is geared to suit those persons who wish to assist in maintaining community safety in their area, but do not wish to be involved in regular or structured meetings. The title says it all - Tell 2, the only committment we ask from a Tell 2 member is that once they have registered to receive information directly from the local Police they make one small committment - to 'Tell 2' other people, to pass on the information or advice they have received to just 2 other people, who can be friends, neighbours or family members who do not live with them. These members are also encouraged to ensure that local information is brought to the attention of local officers.


Communication and information are very powerful tools in the fight against crime, even a small contribution can go a long way.
