The Field Club studies all aspects of natural history, from aquatic life, through plants, animals and birds to geology and astronomy.
During the summer outings are arranged for observation and recording, as well as for general enjoyment of the countryside, and are reported at regular indoor meetings held at the Darlington Art Centre.
During the winter months, weekly indoor meeting are held at the Darlington Art Centre and are addressed by experts on various natural history subjects
