A Warm Welcome

Following the success of My Guide to Tenerife where readers were able to sample the various restaurants, pubs and entertainment on this sun soaked island (also on Communigate) I decided to share my experiences of dining out in the north.
Now I am not an expert on food, far from it, but I have written oodles of articles about my experiences and I do like food!
Join me on my journey around the north of England to some of the bars, hotels and restaraunts which I beleive offer excellent food ranging from the cheap and cheerful to the more expensive.
I think consistency and presentation are two important aspects of dining out and therefore I have not included on this site any establishment I have visited which I would not recommend.
The places I have visited DO NOT know I have called and no advertising revenue has been generated from my visit.
We won't all agree on what constitutes a good eating place and therefore I would welcome your feedback on the places mentioned on this site on MY NOTICEBOARD.
So there you have it - lets share the good experiences and forget the not so hot places!
Until we eat again...bon appetite!

John Riddle (The not so Galloping Gourmet)
