Elwick is another picturesque village we sometimes call on our way back from a day out. There are two pubs in the village the Spotted Cow and the McOrville.
You can get Black Sheep at the McOrville and they serve excellent food on lunchtimes and evenings. Location TS27 3EF.
Adjacent to the Mack is the very popular Spotted Cow.
The Cow has Strongarm, is open all day and serve food at lunchtime and every evening. It is popular and booking is therefore adviseable. Tel 01429 266373. For the sports lovers the Spotted Cow does have Sky sports and I am told Jeff Stelling can sometimes be found here although to be fair I have never seen him in the Cow except on the TV that is.
