In a word - wonderful

Lorna and I visited Leeds on 12th July for Lorna's daughter's graduation at Leeds University.
We now call her Emma BA(Hons).
as part of our celebrations we called in at Aire Bar on the Calls opposite the Armouries and enjoyed an excellent meal at the bar adjacent to Aire Bar - called The Calls Grill.
Food 10/10 - menu too extensive to describe but both Lorna and Emma and our guests throughly enjoyed their meals.Wine was excellent, service great and the hinterlands superb. The bill including drinks came to just under £100 - excellent value for money!
Now that's two first class establishments in The Calls - the Calls Grill and of course the most splendid Aire Bar.

First Class Accommodation in Leeds

We have stayed at 42 The Calls (see seperate page) which is an ideal location for the Leeds Armouries, Aire Bar and of course the excellent facilities offered in the numerous Leeds Shopping Precincts.
Expect to pay at least £134 for a double room/breakfast.
The breakfast menu is as you would expect from a 4**** establishment with everything from freshly squeezed orange juice through to a full English breakfast with a choice of everything including 12 different varieties of sausage. The breakfast menu is £14 per person.
Alternatively there is quite an acceptable breakfast just 25 yards away in the Aire Bar for less than half the price.
