About the Appeal
 | Ellis Conder was diagnosed at 19 months with a Wilms tumour on her kidney. It was the size of a large orange.
She underwent 5 hours of surgery in St. James' hospital, Leeds to have her kidney and the tumour removed, followed by 6 months of chemotherapy, plus intensive monitoring for a further six months. She has now been in remission for over 2 years.
The childrens charity Candlelighters supported Ellis and her family through their ordeal and afterwards provided a holiday break at an East Coast resort.
Now the Ellis Conder appeal aims to raise over £2000 to thank both the hospital and The Candlelighters.
Please help us to help other children like Ellis.
