In my journalistic career I have interviewed some characters but none more larger than life than the former safe cracker and former chairman of Darlington Football Club, George Reynolds. His life has been well documented both in print and on TV and he is currently serving a jail sentence for allegedly fiddling the tax man. No he isn't all bad and had a dream which sadly went oh so wrong. A 25,000 all seat stadium was a folly for a club attracting less than 5,000 on the gate.
But George is in my Hall of Fame. |
