Exciting and unusual plans were highlighted at our last meeting.The old Lodge, the Chapels and the old building to the left of the entrance are going out to tender to be converted into private housing.

The Chapels lend themselves perfectly to be converted into luxury accommodation.Watch this space.

The inside of the Catholic Chapel is large and spacious.A large oak devider in a very elaborate design is the first thing you notice.The roof is very elaborate and in perfect condition.One thing I noticed, which I felt was very unusual, for a building that has not been used for many a year, was the lack of cobwebs.Maybe the bird population kept spiders at bay.There was also a total lack of bird droppings inside the building although we only had the light shining through the door.It felt like stepping back in time.
