Frosterley Village Hall
 | | The Village Hall was built by the local quarrymen in the 19th century by their own labour for their community. Money for raw materials was deducted direct from their wages by the quarry owner. To keep costs down, the men did a lot of the work themselves in their free time. Those that gave charitable donations are remembered today by the bricks which bare their name on the outside of the hall. |
