Logistics & Administration team:
This will require a team working close together, starting with an in-depth study of the present system and working practices. Any changes must be acceptable to the workforce.
Record all collections and deliveries.
Register all items entering and leaving the system
Itemise condition, and record testing and repairs.
Set-up an accredited testing system in accordance with current legislation.
Register those goods cannibalised for parts or scrapped.
Organise collections and deliveries.
Set-up an accredited training programme for all departments.
Design an easy to use ‘Traceability Programme’ suitable for our volunteers.
This programme must give an accurate account of;
a) What items are awaiting collection?
b) When, where and what items are to be collected.
c) When collect and by whom.
d) Condition of item on collection.
e) Condition of item on arrival at base unit.
f) Was item repaired, cannibalised, scrapped or put straight into showroom?
g) Condition of item on leaving unit and when.
h) Where item was finally delivered to.
i) What items are in stock and their condition?
j) Record tonnage in accordance with FRN scale at all stages.
k) Customers’ satisfaction/dissatisfaction.
Section 2 – Candidate Specification (including language skills or experience)
To be able to work with a team of people with mixed abilities and backgrounds.
Be familiar with Microsoft Office, especially word & excel.
Section 3 – Academic Qualifications
Have a basic knowledge and understanding of computer hardware and software.
