It is a life long ambition for many people to buy a property in the sun. It is a lot easier than you might imagine but do avoid buying from somebody in the street or in a bar. I know that sounds ludicrous but beleive me it has happened. Yes a fool and his money are soon parted so why leave your brains at the airport?
There are only 3 people who can lawfully organise the sale of property in Spain so use the proper people and a bone fide estate agent. there are plenty of guides around and even Ian Botham is offering advice.
In Tenerife there are loads of estate agents offering property for sale or to rent and here are a few.
