I usually stay in Los Cristianos when in Tenerife because most of the wonderful eating places are within walking distance. The Comodoro overlooks the harbour and although dated provides good quality, clean and comfortable studios and apartments, if all you want to do is shower and sleep. there is a nice little bar and a good sized swimming pool, but a little noisey on a Sunday morning as the market is adjacent. Very good value for money.
However if you are looking for something a little more up market then could I suggest the South Tenerife Apartmental Rental company is a good place to start. They have apartments to let on Victoria Court 2, where their office is based. email address viccourt2@atlantis.es or telephone 922 79 51 80 remembering of course to put the international code prior to the number.
Finally you may also wish to try Costa del Silencio, a quieter resort than either Los Cristianos or Las Americas but nevertheless near to the coast and golf courses. Chris on 01429 223949 (daytime) and 01429 275615 has a roomy apartment in Silencio on a nice family complex with 3 pools etc. Give him a ring for full details.
