The Boarder's Page

Welcome to the Guinea Pig holiday camp! Here you will find pictures, stories and plenty of character on all the guinea pigs that come to board with me while their owners take a holiday of their own.

Nutmeg

Cathy said:
Nutmeg is a Rex and on the small side as cavies go, just over 2 years old, very quiet in nature, a bit grumpy and a bit of a loner (but appreciates company).

I said:
She loved to hide round the back of my cardigan and was always the first to step up on the stone when food was approaching. A very cuddly guinea pig.

Spangle

Cathy said:
Spangle is a year and a half - white with a tiny touch of orange and black on her face. She is more demonstrative, very friendly and usually "popcorns" a lot, though can be a bit bossy.

I said:
Spangle was the largest of the 3 and coincidently was the boss pig, quite bossy with her cagemates, and always had first shout of the food and comfy corners.

Whinniepig

Cathy said:
Whinnie (short for Whinniepig) is the youngest and is a mixture of colours on her body, mainly brown, with black face. She has always been extremely nervous and hides a lot but likes cuddles.

I said:
Very nervous, difficult to catch, but well worth the effort as she was a real gem to nurse, lovely nature and her best buddy was Nutmeg. And what a lovely authentic name.
