What Tasty Treats Does Your Guinea Pig Prefer?
The Pig-ture Gallery
Please attach a picture of your pet (file sizes of under 50KB in JPEG or GIF format please} to an email and send it in. This page will build into a gallery of viewers Pigs!
Here's my Cavy, "Fred", who is a great companion and family friend. He is a 3 year old male Abbasynian. His fave food is celery and he gets very 'squeaky' when he sees me approaching with a nice celery treat!
This picture was sent in by Aimee Dalton aged 12 of her guinea pig called Patches. You can also read her tip on peat bedding on my 'Got a Tip' Page. The cute cavy below was also sent in by Aimee but we're not sure what to call her. Could you forward her name Aimee and I'll put it above her picture for you?
The Cavy With No Name
But isn't she lovely? Just look at that expression. Ever patiently waiting, looking for the approach of a tasty treat perhaps?
Lettuce belongs to me Rachel Dimsdale. She is a 2 year old naughty girl who likes lettuce best of all. That's why she is called lettuce.
(Rachel Dimsdale) Snowy is my sister, Becky's. We can't put them togethter because they fight. Snowy is a very squeaky pig and sometimes we can even hear her when we are upstairs in the house. The guinea pigs sleep in the garage.
(Rachel Dismdale)Dusty is my best friend's pet. My best friend is called Emma Louise. Dusty is a really pretty guinea pig but we are not sure if she is a girl or a boy! I think dusty is 3.
Rachel Dismdale)Katy belongs to another girl in year 8 at school. We don't know much about dusty as Caitlin has only just got her. She was not being looked after properly by the people who had her before and they have given her to Caitlin with the cage and everything.
(Rachel Dimsdale) The last picture is of David Leng's mummy giunea pig Beauty. She has had some beautiful babies. I really want one but I don't think I'll be allowed!
Matty, Blaze, Nipper and Splodge
Just look at the literal line up of these four adorable little guinea pigs. Don't we all just wish our cavys would behave in such an orderly fashion when we point the camera in their direction? This was sent in from Shirley King of Darlington who's friend, Rachel has won the 'Completely Cute Award' on the Homepage.
I invite you to take a look, but it's fancy dress only!
Here is a picture of my mum holding our pets. I hope you can put it on your website. We love our guinea pigs very much. They like to eat cabbage leaves.
The first one is Madam.
Madam was given to us by our aunty...and shes the best guinea pig I've ever had! She curls up with you & snuggles up really really closely. Really affectionate.
The second is Seren.
Serendipity was bought 6 months ago.....and recently my dad bought a second hand boat which was, funnily enough, called "Serendipity 2". Now shes the mascot...Yay for Seren!
The last is Trowa
Trowa is a lovely lil guinea pig.....but we have to rehome him :( He hardly gets any time out cuz the girls are always in the run, plus for some bizarre reason I'm allergic to him. Poor Trowa.
