Scouting is going through a transitional period, with uniform & age range changes. These are being introduced in an attempt to bring Scouting into a modern organisation. Scouting, like many other youth organisations, has suffered a falling membership, mainly due to its 'old fashioned' image and its lack of 'street cred',whatever that means. Scouting can offer a wide range of activities, both indoor & outdoor, too many to list here. It also offers something different to computers, computer games etc. G.H.S.G is a thriving group but, like all other groups, needs more members and more adult involvement, so 'Join your local group'.
