Welcome to the Rotary Club of Guisborough & Great Ayton, serving East Cleveland for almost half a century. Please browse freely through these pages to learn what Rotary can do for you and what you can do for Rotary.

Rotary International is the world’s longest established and largest voluntary service organisation. Established over 100 years ago, in 1905, there are now 1.2 million members serving communities across every continent in the world. In Britain, there are over 1800 Rotary Clubs with over 60,000 members.


Rotary Club of Guisborough and Great Ayton

Gisborough Hall Hotel - where the Club meets


The Rotary Club of Guisborough & Gt. Ayton - Founded in 1965, it currently has about 30 members whose professional interests range from architecture and education, to manufacturing and computing. Each member serves on one of the Club’s four service committees - Club Management, Community & Vocational Service, International Support and the Rotary Charitable Foundation.

Meetings - The Club meets every Thursday at Gisborough Hall Hotel at 5.30 p.m., for a light meal at 5.45 p.m., followed by a business meeting or guest speaker. Meetings normally finish at 7.00 p.m.

Membership - Membership of Rotary is open to men and women who are, or who have been, in positions of responsibility in their profession or organisation. Members are expected to attend regularly in order to be able to fully participate in the Club’s activities. There is an annual membership fee plus the cost of a weekly meal.
