A Grand Christmas Party

Well, a jolly good time was had by all! Our Christmas Party took place at the Memorial Hospital Social Club in early December. It may not have been the only Xmas Party attended by our guests, but it will certainly have been the best (not to mention the first of the season!). We had approximately 70 guests, who were treated to a wide variety of music, party games - including the now legendary Haraoke Scavenger Hunt, not one but two fun quiz sheets and a superb buffet provided by our very good friends and ardent supporters from Darlington Gaelic Society, Maranny and Pat. We can recommend Gaelic Society events to anyone who likes "a good tea"!

Our event raised well over one hundred pounds for the Halfway House Appeal in Baringo, Kenya, and may very well become an annual event. Watch this space for details of our next big adventure
